You must confirm and sign that your company has read and understand all of these policies prior to any orders being shipped to our facility.
Our warehouse operation is specially equipped for receiving and handling all types of furniture and fixtures for Interior Designers. It is located off I-95 South of Jacksonville at County Road 210, and has easy access for freight carriers to deliver to. Our services include: receiving and inspecting furniture merchandise from freight carriers for external signs of transit damage.
We do not assume any liability for manufacturer flaws, or concealed damage due to shipping before we receive it. We will open and inspect any freight that shows signs of transit abuse before signing the freight bill for acceptance, and if damage is discovered, we will refuse it at the time of delivery. Many freight carriers (mostly common carriers) have a policy stating that the consignee cannot open the freight for inspection prior to signing the freight bill. If this occurs, we will refuse the shipment, if it has signs of transit damage. Generally, the carrier will charge a re-delivery fee to bring it back. These charges are to the Interior Designer and are not our responsibility. Provisions will be made for handling damage claim forms, but the designer must file the claim. All other freight received in good condition will be inspected within a fifteen  day period after receipt and we will be liable for any damages (not manufacturer flaws). New Stat Designer Services, Inc. reserves the right to repair any damages to a reasonable condition.
The Interior Designer will be notified the same day of receipt of the merchandise. When placing an order to be shipped to our warehouse, you must specify Pre-paid or Third Party Billing. We DO NOT PAY for any freight charges at this facility! It is very important that you always place your firms name on all of your purchase orders to be shipped to: with “in care of New Stat Designer Service” following it. Example: E’lan Interiors c/o New Stat Designer Svc. We do not receive or deliver the following items unless pre arranged and agreed to by both parties prior and we are not liable for any damages that might incur.
Any designer or firm sending the following items to our facility will be doing so at their own risk.
No Bulk carpet (Area rugs acceptable)
7' or larger Glass/Marble tops (will receive at your risk)
Fragile Accessories (will receive at your risk)
Lamps and shades (will receive at your risk)
Framed artworks & Mirrors (will receive at your risk)
Appliances (will receive at your risk)
Large Pottery/Planters (will receive at your risk)
Pianos *(not acceptable)
Statuary *(not acceptable)
Building materials (will receive at your risk)
Flooring – tile, wood, composites
Lighting fixtures – of any kind
Window treatments – of any kind
Cabinetry – of any kind
Receiving hours at our warehouse are Monday through Friday from 8:00 am until 3:00 pm. No shipments will be accepted after three o’clock [3:00 pm]. Please notify all of your shippers of this policy. We request no warehouse customer pick-ups. If pick ups are necessary, there will be a substantial handling charge. Our warehouse business hours are 8:00 am ~ 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday and we are closed on weekends and holidays. We are located at 125 Cummberland Park Dr. St. Augustine, FL 32095. It is approximately ¾ of a mile east off I-95 / County Road 210, at exit #329. We have loading dock high enough to accommodate freight carrier type trucks. The warehouse is equipped with industrial furniture racking and experienced personnel to insure proper care of all furniture merchandise.
Receiving charges are $9 per piece and Storage charges are 63 cents per cubic foot. We do not charge anything for merchandise held for a minimum of one  week.
